“Interpolating Northern Renaissance imagery and technique, this body of work interrogates how we engage with a painted history through a digitized present. By reassembling fragments—or “Spolia”—of pop culture, Flemish iconography, and the studio, I imagine painting as a vehicle for self-representation and a transformative act of care.”
